Pg 3 - The false wall
The sill plate for the false wall is in place.
The wall is built and the screen frame is in place.
The cavity is now lined with Johns Manville Linacoustic. There was another "design change" that is not very noticeable in this picture; the L&R speaker standoff distance needed to be increased. The previous ones - 6" - did not allow the speakers to radiate unhindered by the screen edge. Now the speakers will actually protrude through the false wall and be visible instead of hidden behind it.
The subs are placed in what most likely be only a temporary location pending some acoustical measurements. Rack and 7-channel amp are in place as well.CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE
